Treatment Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when you book or receive dental treatment at DentVita Dental Clinic. Please read them before starting treatment.

By agreeing to your treatment plan, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms.

1. Who we are

DentVita Dental Clinic is operated by Zum Special Health Tourism Oral and Dental Health Industry and Trade Limited Company.

DentVita is not a referral agency or facilitator. We are the clinic. Dr. Onur personally oversees every case.

2. Your treatment plan

Before you travel, you will receive a treatment plan based on the photographs, scans, or X-rays you provide remotely. This plan includes the proposed treatments, the teeth involved, and the cost.

Your treatment plan is personal to you. It is prepared by Dr. Onur based on the information available at the time.

Treatment plan estimates are valid for 3 months from the date they are issued. If a price change occurs during that period, we will honour the original quoted amount provided your treatment begins within the 3 months.

3. Changes to your treatment plan

The mouth is a constantly changing environment. When Dr. Onur examines you in person, he may find things that were not visible on a photograph or a panoramic X-ray. A 3D scan taken at the clinic may reveal bone loss, infection, or structural issues that change what is clinically appropriate.

If your treatment plan needs to change, Dr. Onur will explain what has changed, why, and how it affects the cost before proceeding. No treatment is carried out without your agreement.

You have the right to ask questions about any procedure before agreeing to it. You may be asked to read and sign consent forms for specific parts of your treatment. These will explain the risks, benefits, alternatives, and expected outcomes.

It is your responsibility to make sure you understand what is being proposed. If something is unclear, ask. Dr. Onur and the patient coordinator are there to explain things properly, not to rush you into a decision.

If Dr. Onur believes a treatment is not in your best interest, he will say so. DentVita reserves the right to decline treatment where proceeding would not be clinically appropriate.

5. Pricing and payment

All DentVita prices are fixed and published in GBP. The same price applies to every patient. There is no negotiation.

The price quoted in your treatment plan includes all dental work, laboratory fees, anaesthesia, and temporary restorations where applicable. It does not include travel, accommodation, or personal expenses unless a package has been agreed.

Payment is expected in full before your final restorations are fitted. For implant cases, payment for the implant phase is requested at the time of implant placement. Payment can be made by card (Visa or Mastercard) or cash (GBP, EUR, or USD).

If you have arranged a package that includes accommodation, and you prefer to book your own hotel, a deduction of £50 per night will be applied to your treatment cost.

If full payment is not received before the final fitting, DentVita cannot complete the treatment and no guarantee will apply. Any bank charges or currency conversion charges are the patient’s responsibility.

6. Cancellation

If you need to cancel or postpone your treatment, please let us know as soon as possible.

Where treatment has not yet begun, no fee is charged. Where treatment has started, or where laboratory work, custom restorations, or materials have already been ordered or prepared specifically for you, the related costs are non-refundable.

If you choose to stop treatment part way through, you remain responsible for the cost of any work already completed, including laboratory and material costs.

7. Clinical guarantee

Dr. Onur provides the following clinical guarantees on completed dental work at DentVita:

  • Zirconia crowns and bridges: 5 years from the date of final fitting
  • Dental implants: 5 years from the date of placement
  • Porcelain laminate veneers: 1 year from the date of final fitting

Where applicable, implants may also benefit from the manufacturer’s own warranty, subject to the terms, scope, and conditions of the relevant implant brand. The manufacturer warranty covers the implant component itself. Dr. Onur’s clinical guarantee covers the placement and the prosthetic work.

Treatments not listed above are not covered by a clinical guarantee. This does not affect your statutory rights.

The clinical guarantee applies on the condition that:

  • you have paid for your treatment in full
  • you follow the aftercare instructions provided by the clinic
  • you attend any recommended follow-up appointments or check-ups
  • you maintain reasonable oral hygiene and care at home
  • you do not delay returning for final restorations beyond 12 months where temporary restorations have been placed

The clinical guarantee does not cover:

  • damage caused by trauma, accident, or inappropriate use
  • new decay or gum disease that develops after treatment
  • problems caused by failure to follow aftercare instructions or prescribed medications
  • gum recession exposing crown or bridge margins
  • habits such as nail biting, pen chewing, or using teeth as tools
  • complications arising from undisclosed medical conditions or medications
  • issues arising from original dental work performed at another clinic before your treatment at DentVita

If you experience a problem covered by this guarantee, contact us. Dr. Onur will assess the situation, which may include requesting an X-ray through our UK imaging partner so you do not need to fly back immediately.

8. What you need to tell us

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical information before you travel. This includes:

  • current medications, including blood thinners, bisphosphonates, immunosuppressants, corticosteroids, and any medications used in chemotherapy or radiotherapy
  • known allergies, including drug allergies
  • chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, blood disorders, or autoimmune conditions
  • pregnancy or suspected pregnancy
  • any previous dental treatment, including implants placed at another clinic

This information must be provided in writing before travel and confirmed when you arrive at the clinic. If you are unsure whether something is relevant, mention it anyway.

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in treatment being delayed, modified, or cancelled, and may invalidate your clinical guarantee. The clinic cannot accept responsibility for complications arising from conditions or medications that were not disclosed.

9. Pregnancy

DentVita does not provide dental treatment to patients who are pregnant. If you are or may be pregnant, please let us know before booking.

If pregnancy is not disclosed before travel and is discovered at the clinic, treatment will not proceed. DentVita is not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs in that situation.

10. Age requirement

DentVita does not provide cosmetic dental treatment to patients under 18 years of age. If a patient’s age is not disclosed accurately before travel, treatment will not proceed and DentVita is not responsible for any associated costs.

11. X-rays and diagnostic imaging

X-rays and scans are essential to accurate diagnosis. If you have recent panoramic X-rays or scans, we will ask you to send them before you travel. A 3D intraoral scan will be taken at the clinic as part of your examination.

If you refuse diagnostic imaging, DentVita may be unable to treat you safely and may decline to proceed. If you refuse a post-treatment X-ray where one is clinically recommended, this may affect your guarantee.

12. Prescriptions and medications

If Dr. Onur or a referring specialist prescribes medication as part of your treatment, it is your responsibility to take it as directed. If you have questions about a prescription, ask before leaving the clinic.

Prescriptions are provided by the clinic at no charge. The pharmacy will charge separately for dispensing the medication. These costs are modest and payable in Turkish Lira directly to the pharmacy.

Failure to follow a prescribed medication course, particularly antibiotics after implant surgery, may affect your treatment outcome and may invalidate your guarantee.

13. Appointments and conduct

We allocate time for each patient carefully. If your appointment schedule changes, we will let you know as soon as possible. Dental treatment is healthcare, and occasionally appointments may run longer than planned.

We treat every patient with courtesy and respect. We expect the same in return. If a patient behaves abusively or aggressively toward any member of staff or another patient, DentVita reserves the right to end the treatment relationship. In that case, the clinical guarantee will not apply, and the patient remains responsible for any costs already incurred.

14. Minimum treatment duration

Before you travel, we will tell you how many days your treatment requires, not counting travel days. If you choose to leave earlier than advised, your treatment may need to be completed on an accelerated schedule that is not clinically ideal.

Leaving before the recommended treatment period is complete may invalidate your clinical guarantee.

15. Temporary restorations and return visits

Some treatments are completed in two phases. In the first visit, implants are placed or teeth are prepared, and temporary restorations are fitted. In the second visit, final restorations are placed.

If temporary restorations are placed, you should return for your final appointment within the timeframe recommended by Dr. Onur. This should not exceed 12 months from the date of your first visit.

If you do not return within the recommended period, DentVita cannot guarantee the outcome, and the clinical guarantee may not apply.

16. Travel, accommodation, and transfers

For patients receiving substantial treatment, DentVita offers packages that may include airport transfers, clinic transfers, and accommodation at a partner hotel. The specific inclusions are confirmed before you travel.

DentVita coordinates these services through independent third-party providers. We are not responsible for delays, interruptions, or service failures caused solely by third parties or events outside our reasonable control, such as airline delays, traffic, or border and travel disruptions. This does not affect any rights you may have where DentVita has expressly agreed to supply a package element directly.

You are responsible for holding a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from your return date and for obtaining any visa or travel documentation required to enter Turkey.

DentVita does not provide travel insurance. We recommend that you arrange your own travel and medical insurance before departure.

17. Clinical photographs and images

We take clinical photographs as part of diagnosis and treatment. These images form part of your clinical record and are stored securely.

We do not use your images for marketing, social media, or before-and-after content without your separate written permission. That permission is always optional. Refusing it does not affect your treatment or guarantee in any way.

18. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

19. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment, please tell us. Contact Dr. Onur or the patient coordinator directly. We would rather hear about a problem and fix it than have you leave unsatisfied.

If a complaint cannot be resolved informally, you may submit a formal written complaint to clinic@dentvita.com. We will acknowledge it promptly and aim to provide a full response within 30 days.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.

Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply, nothing in these terms is intended to remove those protections.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, the courts and enforcement offices of Antalya, Turkey shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or connected with these terms.
