Dental Treatments We Offer in Turkey
What we do, who it’s for, and what it costs.
Each card below covers one of the dental services we offer in Turkey, what it involves, who it’s right for, and what it costs. If you already know what you need, explore our dental packages for treatment plans with pricing, hotel, and transfers included. If not, send us a photo and we’ll recommend the right option.
Dental Implants
Missing one tooth or missing ten, dental implants replace what’s gone with a fixed, long-term solution. A titanium post goes into the jawbone, fuses with the bone over a few months, and holds a crown that looks and works like a real tooth.
This treatment suits you if:
- You’ve lost one or more teeth and want a permanent replacement
- You’re tired of wearing a removable denture
- You have a tooth too damaged to save with a crown
- You want a full-arch restoration on 4 to 6 implants per jaw
Single gaps, multiple missing teeth, full-arch cases. We handle all of them. Bone density is assessed from your X-ray or CT scan before we recommend anything. If bone grafting or a sinus lift is needed, you’ll know before you fly.
We work within the Straumann Group ecosystem: Neodent, Medentika, and Straumann depending on your case and budget. Osstem is also available for patients who want a well-proven implant at a more accessible price. If a simpler system does the job properly, we won’t push the expensive one.
All implant crowns are screw-retained wherever possible. We avoid cement because remnants under the gumline can cause inflammation years later. Screw-retained prosthetics are cleaner, easier to maintain, and simple to remove if anything ever needs adjusting.
The healing period between visits is typically 3 to 6 months while the implant fuses with the bone. You’ll have a clear timeline before you travel.
All implants come with a lifetime manufacturer warranty. We add a 5-year clinical guarantee on top.

Dental Crowns
A crown is a custom-made cap that covers a damaged, weakened, or heavily filled tooth. It restores shape, strength, and appearance so the tooth works normally again. Crowns also sit on top of implants, form the structure of a bridge, and replace old metal restorations that have started to fail. That’s why crowns are one of the most routine dental procedures in Turkey, and a common starting point for patients exploring dental care here.
You might need a crown if:
- A tooth is cracked, heavily filled, or weakened after root canal treatment
- The UK price for a crown put you off getting one done
- There’s a gap you want to fill with a bridge rather than an implant
- Old metal restorations are starting to show dark lines or fail
We use monolithic zirconia as standard rather than the older metal-fused porcelain many UK patients are used to. No metal substructures, no dark lines at the gumline. We offer three tiers, from NexxZr multilayer zirconia through to Ivoclar E.max ZirCAD Prime, matched to where the crown sits and how visible it is.
Your tooth is prepared on day one, scanned with a 3D intraoral scanner, and fitted with a free temporary crown. The permanent crown is fabricated in our lab and fitted within a few days.
We apply a desensitiser after every preparation and use GC glass ionomer cement for the final bond. How a crown is cemented matters as much as how it’s made. We take that part seriously.
Composite Bonding
Composite bonding is one of the quickest ways to get your chipped, gapped or discoloured teeth fixed in Turkey, usually with little to no tooth reduction. It’s one of the most asked-about dental services we offer. We layer tooth-coloured resin directly onto your teeth, build up shape, and polish it to match your natural smile.
One thing worth clarifying. What most patients call “composite bonding” is actually a composite veneer, the full front surface of the tooth covered and reshaped. That’s £140 per tooth. Edge bonding, fixing a small chip or minor irregularity only, is a smaller job at £90. We’ll tell you which one your case actually needs before any work starts.
Good option if:
- A few front teeth let down an otherwise healthy smile
- You want visible results without lab work or a second visit
- Veneers feel like more commitment than you’re ready for
- You’d rather fix specific teeth than redesign everything
Material matters with bonding more than most people think. Cheap composites yellow or chip within a year. We use Tokuyama Estelite Asteria, a Japanese composite that holds its colour and keeps a clean gloss over time. It costs us more. It saves you a redo.
One honest note. Composite is not permanent. With good care, expect 5 to 7 years. Sometimes longer, sometimes less on teeth that take heavy bite pressure. Minimal preparation is sometimes needed to help the resin bond properly and last. If longevity is your priority and your case allows it, porcelain veneers are worth a conversation.

Veneers
Consider veneers if:
- You want a significant change to the overall look of your smile
- Bonding won’t give you the result you’re after
- You’re prepared for some tooth preparation in exchange for longer-lasting results
- You’re looking for a uniform, natural-looking finish across multiple teeth
When someone talks about getting their teeth done in Turkey, they’re usually talking about veneers. A thin shell of porcelain bonded to the front of each tooth, reshaping colour, size, alignment, and symmetry in one go. It’s the treatment behind many of the smile transformations you see online.
We only work with Ivoclar e.max lithium disilicate ceramics, pressed or milled depending on the case. There are cheaper porcelain options out there. We’ve seen how they age. e.max holds its translucency and colour better over time. That’s why we won’t offer anything else.
Tooth preparation is part of the process. A thin layer of enamel is removed so the veneer sits flush and looks natural. This is irreversible, and we make that clear before anything starts. If you’re young and your teeth are healthy, we’ll have an honest conversation about whether you actually need this.
Preparation and scans on day one, temporaries fitted while the lab works, final veneers bonded before you fly home.
Smile Makeover
A smile makeover isn’t a single treatment. It’s a plan that combines two or more procedures to rebuild the overall look of your teeth. Veneers, crowns, bonding, whitening, implants. The combination depends entirely on what your teeth need and what result you’re after. Some patients call it a Hollywood smile, but the actual work behind it varies from case to case.
Most patients who ask about this come in with a general idea. “I want straighter-looking teeth.” “I want to close these gaps.” “I just want to feel confident smiling.” We turn that into a clinical plan before anything is recommended.
This might be what you’re looking for if:
- Multiple things bother you about your smile, not just one tooth
- Different dentists have quoted you for separate treatments and you’d rather get it all done in one trip
- The right combination of treatments isn’t obvious to you yet
- “Hollywood smile” packages keep coming up in your search but you want something that actually suits your face
A smile makeover at some clinics means 20 crowns on healthy teeth. We start with the least invasive option and only add more if the case genuinely needs it. If bonding can get the same result, we recommend bonding. Combined treatment plans are one of the most common reasons patients choose to get their teeth done in Turkey.
The process starts with a video consultation and a written treatment plan. Most smile makeover cases take 5 to 7 days depending on the scope. Treatments, materials, timeline, and expected cost are all confirmed in advance. If anything changes after the clinical exam, we discuss it with you first.
Getting dental work done in Turkey makes this kind of plan realistic. In the UK, the same work would cost significantly more, so most people end up spacing it out over years. Here, most cases are completed in a single trip.

Teeth Whitening
Sometimes the only thing standing between you and a smile you’re happy with is the colour. No chips, no gaps, no structural problems. Just staining from coffee, tea, or time.
Whitening is right if:
- Your teeth are healthy but dull or stained
- You want a visible change in a single appointment
- You’re adding a finishing step after veneers, crowns, or bonding so untreated teeth match the new work
We use a professional-grade system applied under controlled conditions, which is why the results go further than over-the-counter kits. One appointment, roughly an hour.
Whitening won’t change the shape or position of your teeth. If that’s part of what bothers you, bonding or veneers will get you further. But if the issue really is just colour, this is the quickest treatment we offer.
General and Restorative Dentistry
Not every case is cosmetic. Some patients come to us because they need a root canal, an extraction, or several fillings, and getting it all sorted at home has become too slow, too expensive, or too fragmented.
General and restorative treatments we offer include:
- Fillings
- Root canal treatment
- Tooth extractions
- Gum treatment
- Dentures
- Inlays and onlays
- Night guards
- Professional cleaning (ultrasonic + airflow)
For specialist work, we bring in a trusted endodontist and periodontologist who work alongside us at the clinic. The same professionals, coordinated with your treatment plan, within the same trip.
Many patients combine this kind of work with cosmetic treatment while they’re here. A root canal may need a crown afterwards. An extraction may be the first step before an implant. Fillings, cleaning, and other restorative work can also be handled as part of the wider plan. In many cases, it makes more sense to deal with everything together rather than spread it out over months back home.
We don’t offer orthodontic braces. They need 12 to 24 months of follow-up, which doesn’t fit a dental tourism model. If braces are what you need, we’ll tell you.

Why Choose Turkey for Dental Work
The right question isn’t “is Turkey safe?” It’s “is your clinic?”
People are right to question whether getting dental work done in Turkey is safe. The warnings exist for a reason. When things go wrong, it’s usually the same story: healthy teeth shaved down for unnecessary crowns, unnamed materials, no written plan, and no one to call once you’re home.
That’s what “Turkey teeth” really means. It’s a clinic problem, not a country problem.
The question worth asking is whether the specific clinic you’re considering can answer these clearly:
- Who is the dentist treating you, by name?
- Will you receive a written treatment plan before you fly?
- Which materials and brands are being used?
- What warranty covers the work?
- What happens if something goes wrong after you return home?
- Is there a defined aftercare path, or does the relationship end at the airport?
Any clinic that can’t answer all six isn’t worth your time. Regardless of the country.
Turkey is a good place for dental work not because standards are lower, but because overheads, lab costs, and the general cost base are. The quality comes down to the clinic, the dentist, and the materials.
At DentVita, every case is overseen by one dentist from consultation to completion. You get a written treatment plan before booking flights. We name every material we use and explain why it was chosen. Our implants carry a lifetime manufacturer warranty plus a 5-year clinical guarantee. And if something concerns you after you fly home, we’re on the other end of WhatsApp. We also work with a UK imaging centre for remote X-ray review when needed. Plan your dental trip to Turkey →

What Our Patients Say
Real words from real patients.
Zain, London
★★★★★
Dr. Onur took the time to educate me on the different treatment options available… he provided me with the necessary information to make an informed decision. This honesty and professionalism immediately earned my trust.
Anıl Keleş, Canada
★★★★★
I had my implants and a few months later, after the healing had taken place, I had my e-max crowns. They not only solved my oral problems, bruxism, but also look aesthetically as if they were my natural teeth.
Aurelija
★★★★★
The treatment began with the removal of old implants, a challenging procedure that many clinics were hesitant to undertake. However, the surgeon handled it smoothly, successfully replacing the implants to the new ones.

How Getting Your Teeth Done in Turkey Works
Four steps. No surprises at any of them.
1
Send us your photos
Start with a free consultation. Message us on WhatsApp or through the form on this page with a few clear photos of your teeth. Tell us what you’d like to change. If implants are involved, we’ll ask for a panoramic X-ray too so we can assess bone structure before recommending anything.
2
Get your treatment plan
Dr. Onur reviews everything personally and puts together your plan. You’ll see which treatments he recommends, which materials we’ll use, the timeline, and the total cost. Everything confirmed in writing before you book a flight.
3
Come to Antalya
Once you’ve booked, we handle the logistics. Airport pickup on arrival, transfer to your hotel, and transport to and from the clinic throughout your stay. Your English-speaking patient coordinator is reachable from the moment you land.
4
Treatment and aftercare
Treatment begins and your progress is checked at every stage. You fly home with written aftercare instructions and direct WhatsApp access to the clinic. If we need to see an X-ray months later, we coordinate with a UK imaging centre. You won’t need to fly back.
Is Dental Care in Turkey Safe
Don’t take our word for it. Check.
We’d rather you verified us than trusted us blindly. That’s how it should work when you’re choosing a dental clinic abroad.
DentVita has been operating since 2010. We’re a licensed polyclinic registered under the Turkish Ministry of Health, based in Güzeloba, Lara, Antalya. Our lead dentist, Dr. Onur Tarakçı, has been practising since 2004 and personally oversees every case that comes through the clinic.
Reading real patient reviews is one of the smartest things you can do before booking dental treatment in Turkey. We encourage it. Check our Google reviews, look at real patient results, and ask us anything directly on WhatsApp. We’ll also connect you with past patients if that helps you decide.
The materials we use are listed on every treatment page by brand name. Straumann, Neodent, Ivoclar, Tokuyama. We don’t hide behind “premium materials” as a phrase. You can look up every brand we name.
One concern we hear often: “Will my NHS dentist still see me if I get treatment abroad?” Yes. Having your teeth done in Turkey doesn’t affect your NHS access back home. NHS England confirms this.
Is Turkey good for teeth? That depends entirely on the clinic you choose. We’ve spent this entire page showing you how we work, what we use, and who does the work. The rest is up to you.

Going to Turkey for Teeth? Common Questions
The things patients actually ask us before they book.
Turkey’s Ministry of Health regulates all dental clinics and requires regular licensing. The safety risk isn’t the country. It’s the clinic you choose. Before booking anywhere, verify the treating dentist by name, ask for a written treatment plan, and confirm which materials are being used. You can check registered clinics through Turkey’s official health tourism portal. The GDC’s guidance on dental treatment abroad is also worth reading.
It depends on the treatment. Composite bonding and whitening take 1 to 3 days. Veneers and crowns need 5 to 7 days. Implants typically require two trips with 3 to 6 months of healing between them. Your treatment plan confirms the exact timeline before you fly.
Six things. A named treating dentist, not a rotating team. A written treatment plan before you travel. Disclosed material and brand names. Clear warranty terms. A defined aftercare path. And a straight answer to “what happens if something goes wrong after I fly home?” If a clinic can’t answer all six, keep looking.
Yes, significantly. Lower overheads, lower lab costs, and a different cost base mean the same materials and techniques cost less than in the UK. A Straumann implant at DentVita is £800. The same implant in the UK runs £2,500 to £3,500. The difference isn’t quality. It’s economics. See our full dental treatment prices →
At DentVita, we cover implants, crowns, composite bonding, veneers, smile makeovers, teeth whitening, fillings, root canals, extractions, gum treatment, dentures, and more. You can explore each one in the treatment sections above.
Yes. Once your treatment plan is finalised, the price is confirmed in writing. The only thing that could change it is something unexpected during the clinical exam in Antalya, like a tooth that needs work we couldn’t see from photos alone. If that happens, we discuss it with you before going ahead. Nothing changes without your approval.
Send us a few clear photos of your teeth on WhatsApp or through the form on this page. Tell us what you’d like to change. If implants might be involved, we’ll ask for a panoramic X-ray. We review your case personally and comes back with a treatment plan and cost. No forms, no referrals, no obligation.
Ready to Talk? No cost. No pressure. Just an honest conversation about your teeth.
Tell us what’s bothering you about your teeth and what work you’ve had done before. Send photos or an X-ray if you have one. We’ll come back with what we think fits and what we need to confirm it.
Every dental treatment plan at DentVita starts with a real conversation, a clear plan from Dr. Onur, and a price you can trust before you fly to Turkey.
